A stacked burger with a sesame bun, two patties, lettuce, red onion rings and tomato, topped with dripping orange cheese sauce, stands beside a tall glass of foamy beer. Blue watercolor washes spread behind and beneath the food. The dense patty speckles, bun seeds and sauce drips supply the dark and light modules, while the beer glass and onion curls help hide the finder squares. Strong contrast between dark meat and pale bun and wash keeps the pattern legible. Loose pigment blooms and splatter dots add a hand painted feel.
