About this design

A symmetrical woven-style panel in red, saffron, orange and deep navy, built from nested squares, diamond lattices and striped borders in the manner of traditional Thai cloth. Three framed concentric-square medallions disguise the finder squares, each ringed in yellow and red. The central field is a maze of tan interlocking strokes over dark maroon hatching, and these carry the modules. Strong light-on-dark contrast and thick outlines keep the pattern legible, while the lattice borders add rhythm without crowding the center.
