A dense mass of tangled, swirling forms drawn in black ink on white paper, packed with spirals, hatching and ornamental fills. Square, ring-like motifs with eye shapes and a round emblem near the lower edge disguise the finder squares, while the twisting ribbons and heavy black patches carry the modules. Strong black against white and clear separation between the dark masses and the finely hatched areas keep the pattern legible. Loose curved flourishes and scattered specks around the border give it a hand-drawn feel.
