A glossy blue and rust glazed jug stands in bright sun beside slimmer blue vases, pink and white peonies and small picture frames. The wooden frame holding a pink peony and the dark photo frames suit the finder squares, while the mottled glaze blotches and square motif on the jug body carry the modules. Strong contrast between rust, deep blue and pale glaze keeps the pattern readable across the curved surface. Soft shadows on the stone tabletop and blurred green leaves behind add depth.
