A black crow perched in profile, its head turned and beak open slightly, with scalloped white-edged feathers across the wing and back. Long curved plumes sweep out beneath and to the right like a crescent of wings. Solid black against a plain white ground keeps the pattern high in contrast, and the fine feather linework stays crisp inside the dark masses.
