A white marble relief of a woman's face, her hair and shoulders breaking into angular shards, set against a cracked sandstone wall. Three square stone frames sunk into the wall hide the finder squares, and a small carved square on the lower left of the relief does the same job for the alignment mark. Fractured marble facets and open recesses form the light and dark modules, with deep shadows cut into each gap. The sharp contrast between pale polished stone and dark cavities keeps the pattern clear across the whole block.
