A swirling abstract mosaic of tiny tesserae in cobalt blue, bone white, black, rust and ochre, with looping ribbons and eye-like concentric circles. Strong light and dark contrast between the white grout-like lines and the deep blue and black fields keeps the pattern legible. Tile rows bend along each curve, which gives the piece a hand-laid look.
